The Leader Development Program (LDP) offers park and recreation professionals an intense multi-day experience designed for those interested in advancing their leadership and relationship skills. LDP empowers participants to meet the leadership challenges of today and tomorrow

2024 Cohort graduate
Led by leader development trainer and organizational consultant Rick Rocchetti, an adjunct faculty member with the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Government’s Center for Public Leadership and Governance, LDP participants navigate through focused activities, review and discussion of current literature, personal reflections, and interactive group dialogue to sharpen their skills as a leader. Each participant completes the TILT Personality Profile ™ assessment. LDP leverages each participant’s TILT identified character strengths with the program curriculum to deliver a personalized leader development experience.
