The Park Ranger Institute is a training opportunity for sworn, non-sworn, line officers or administrators, and naturalists to gain knowledge and training in subjects affecting today’s parks. This training is offered to all agencies. The institute is held annually at the North Carolina Justice Academy facility in Edneyville, NC. The Park Ranger Institute was founded in 1978.

The 2019 Institute will be held in Edneyville, NC, the western location for the North Carolina Justice Academy.
