The Funding Greenways, Parks, and Trails worksop was the latest in the Growing Greenways series of events to bring timely and relevant information to parks professionals and recreation planners. Held March, 12 in Morganton, NC, the workshop provided attendees with valuable information about ways to finance greenways, parks and trail projects through a variety of sources including traditional state and federal grants, partnerships with private entities, as well as ballot initiatives for recreation bonds. Resources including presentations from our speaker line-up can be found below. Just click on the blue hyperlinks. Thanks to all who supported this year’s workshop. We will be in touch soon about future greenways and trails workshops.
