Our four-person panel of experts will discuss a range of accessibility related topics parks and recreation departments are faced with. Participants will be provided with examples of adaptive youth and older-adult athletics, programming for accessibility across all age groups, best-practice case studies that include how to get started and what to consider when designing adaptive programs, information about trail design and sustainability in topographically challenged areas like WNC, and how those issues impact providing trail access for trail users with mobility impairments.
