Carol McLaurin has over 18 years’ experience implementing programs and partnerships across state agencies, universities and the private sector. She has expertise in the areas of leadership development, entrepreneurship, economic development, the arts, and business disaster recovery. Carol is a certified Leadership Challenge™ facilitator and LPI360™ coach; and has directed a leadership development program for over 10 years using these tools. Carol has worked for nearly two decades co-facilitating strategic planning for various state entities including the Department of Commerce, the State Economic Development Board, regional partnerships, the NC Office of the Governor, and the University of North Carolina System Office. She is familiar with the unique set of factors operating in the public sector, and the opportunities and constraints facing the good people who work there. Carol completed her business and professional coach certification through NC State University. She loves woodland and urban adventures with her dog, Riley – affectionately known at the emergency vet as “the shish kebab dog.”
