Summary of Session: Goal setting is the powerful process of thinking about your ideal future. This speed session will approach goal setting by rewinding your life from your funeral to now. What does your ideal future look like? What do you have to do to achieve that future? We will work through some example of how to write goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and with a timeframe.

Track 2 – Returners

Repeat, Reward or Release
Wednesday, April 13
4:00 – 4:45 pm

 Learning Outcomes:

  1. What accountability is

  2. Concepts of how to get your employees to be more accountable for results

  3. The importance having a two-way conversation to make sure you both are on the same page

Summary of Session: The definition of accountability for this speed session is “delivering on a commitment.” How often do you get assigned a project and put in the time on the front end to make a plan for you to have a successful outcome? Are you clear about the outcome you are looking for and what is expected of you? Do you have the skills needed to meet the expectations or are you “going to fake it until you make it?” Did you ask enough questions? Did you prepare a weekly schedule to review milestones? Is this your method of accountability for yourself? What about your employees? More than once, I have been asked, “how do I get my people to be more accountable for results?” We will discuss a five step process to help foster

accountability in the people around us.
